The Cheeky Panda set to unveil NPD at Natural & Organic Products Europe Show

The Cheeky PandaThe Cheeky Panda, the leading sustainable personal care, baby, and beauty brand, will be unveiling a new range of 9-pack toilet tissues at this year’s Natural & Organic Products Europe (NOPE) show, April 16 – 17, London ExCeL.

The new 3-ply, 160 sheet range of The Cheeky Panda Sustainable Bamboo Toilet Tissue will be available to the trade in the following variants: Luxury Quilted, Natural Colour and Silky Soft. Goody bags and samples of the new 160 sheet product, and other ranges, will be available to visitors on Stand L20.

Made with fast-growing, 100% biodegradable, FSC certified bamboo, The Cheeky Panda Sustainable Bamboo Toilet Tissue range offers an ideal bathroom solution for consumers looking to reduce their carbon footprint. The new range – which also supports the vital work of WWF through a donation for every pack sold – helps shoppers save around 0.475kg of carbon per 9 pack, and approximately 8.4g of plastic versus a toilet tissue made of traditional tree-based pulp!

As well as unveiling the launch and inspiring show visitors to swap traditional paper and plastic based products for bamboo alternatives, the full retail range will be on display giving retailers a look at how they can capitalise on the growing demand for sustainable products. This includes the brand’s first-ever UK-made product, new Biodegradable Anti-Bacterial Multi-Surface Cleaning Wipes which launched last month.

The Cheeky Panda has an exciting prize offering for those who stop by Stand L20 during the show. Alex Winyard, UK FMCG Sales Manager, The Cheeky Panda Ltd, says: “Be sure to visit us on Stand L20 to enter our prize draw. Independent retailers are in with a chance to win an impressive range of The Cheeky Panda products worth over £875 (RSP), as well as a fully branded FSDU to help drive rate of sale.”

Commenting on the prize, Alex says: “In recent independent health store trials, we found that showcasing the variety of the range is imperative to increasing sales. So much so that one store reported that, with the FSDU in place, overall sales of The Cheeky Panda products increased close to 200%, with another store reporting sales growth reached double that versus before the FSDU was used.”

Alex continues: “Be sure to stop by our stand – you can’t miss us if you look out for the giant loo (!) – and find out exactly what makes our bamboo-based range so sustainable. For instance, the whole life cycle of a The Cheeky Panda product produces 65.6% fewer carbon emissions than standard virgin tree-based products and is 35% lower than recycled tree-based paper!”

Louise Bittleston, corporate and communityfundraising manager at WWF-UK, says: “We are delighted to be partnering with The Cheeky Panda on their Bamboo Toilet Tissue.
