Horlicks - ProductsMarking an exciting and innovative development in the history of Horlicks, the iconic hot beverage brand has expanded its popular malted drink range with three pudding flavours.

The new trio of nostalgic Horlicks ‘pudding’ flavours that shoppers will be able to enjoy are Banoffee Pie, Apple Pie and Cherry Bakewell. A sweet spin on the brand’s bestselling ‘Horlicks Instant’, the three new products are made by simply adding hot water.

Hitting shelves exclusively in Poundland on 9 November, the new flavours are being introduced in 270g jars (RRP £3.29) and will maintain the brand’s signature malty taste and creamy texture, whilst reminiscing on the flavours of the three classic, crowd-pleasing desserts.

Michelle Younger, Marketing Director at Aimia Foods commented: “We are honoured and excited to build on the heritage of the Horlicks brand by introducing new flavour innovations, all with the loved and unique malty taste remaining and developed using our insight into consumer preferences.

“Nostalgic desserts are a rising trend and are currently in high demand amongst consumers looking to satisfy their sweet tooth. The new pudding flavours not only bring excitement for Horlicks fans but will also appeal to new consumers, bringing new shoppers into the malted category.”

Horlicks, with its strong British heritage, began in 1873 and is now 150 years old. It formed part of the forces kit bag during WW2 due to its ‘complete and well-balanced nourishment’.

A warming and delicious hug in a mug, the uniquely creamy and delicious taste of Horlicks’ range of malted drinks is developed through a longstanding, traditional process made with wheat and barley. Each mug of Horlicks is bursting with goodness and contains 14 key vitamins and minerals. It’s high in Calcium, Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin D & Vitamin B12.

The Horlicks range of malted drinks includes Horlicks Original, Horlicks Instant, Horlicks Chocolate, and Horlicks Vegan. The brand also has a range of Horlicks Healthy nourishing shakes, blending protein and health-boosting vitamins, tailored to support three unique nutritional needs. The range includes Horlicks Healthy Body, Horlicks Healthy Gut and Horlicks Healthy Sleep.
