Nordic lifestyle brand ARKET will be opening an online resale destination. Launching on 23 November, ARKET ARCHIVE is a platform for second-hand ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories and childrenswear from ARKET.

Through the resale program, beautiful pieces from the wardrobes of the brand’s community will be matched with new owners, giving ARKET designs a chance to find a second, third or even fourth home. Customers are invited to list their second-hand products and earn cash or a voucher for their next ARKET online purchase. The initiative comes as an extension of the brand’s vision to offer functional essentials designed to be used and loved for a long time.

“We want to encourage a circular mindset and serve members of our community, for whom buying second-hand comes as naturally as buying new. We design our collections for a long life, so offering a resale platform exclusive for ARKET items makes perfect sense to us. With ARKET ARCHIVE, we hope to integrate resale as a natural part of our customer experience,” says Ville Klemming, ARKET head of growth & sustainability.

The new platform is launched in partnership with Archive, a leading technology platform for branded resale. Teaming up with innovators like Archive is essential for ARKET to fulfil its commitment to contribute to a fashion ecosystem where resources are kept in use for as long as possible.

ARKET ARCHIVE is available at ARKET.com in Sweden and the UK from 23 November.
