Old J Spiced Rum, known for its bold flavours and fun-loving attitude, is venturing beyond the glass this summer – teaming up with cult condiment brand Tubby Tom’s to launch a limited-edition Pineapple Honey Glaze, infused with Old J’s tropical Pineapple Spiced Rum.
While creative Old J fans have been blending the brand into food for years, this marks the rum’s first official foray into food, combining its distinctive tropical flavour profile with Tubby Tom’s small-batch sauce expertise. The result? A sticky, sweet, spiced glaze perfect for wings, ribs, halloumi, or grilled veg – just in time for BBQ season.
Summer serve meets flavour-led innovation
The Old J x Tubby Tom’s Pineapple Honey Glaze blends rich honey with punchy Caribbean spices, vibrant pineapple, and a smooth rum kick. Launching as part of a 12-week on-trade activation from 1st June to 31st August, the collaboration will be featured in over 100 pubs and bars across the UK with a co-branded summer serve offer – Six wings glazed in ‘Rum Punch’ sauce + any double Old J & mixer = £X – giving consumers a new way to engage with the Old J brand.
