YO! is ready to score this summer with its brand-new It’s Game Time menu which fuses iconic Japanese dishes with famous Mexican, American and Canadian flavours.
The menu is bold and playful, and in classic YO! style, is full of unexpected, but delicious, twists and turns. From the Katsu Dog, served in a brioche bun with cheesy tortillas and pickled burger gherkins, to YO!’s take on Poutine Fries, loaded with chicken bulgogi, cheese, pickled onion and mayo, every dish is a fun, fresh take on a classic.
And to headline the launch? An exciting collaboration with All Saints singer Melanie Blatt, who has recently launched her own brand, Mel’s Full Fullings, and is teaming up with YO! to create the ultimate Chicken Katsu Sandwich. The dish packs chicken katsu, pickled red onion, cheese and slaw all into a toasted brioche bun. And in a nod to her All Saint roots, fans can rest assured this limited-edition dish will Never Ever be short on flavour.
Mel Blatt said: “I’ve always loved YO!, so to be asked to collaborate was a dream come true . We’ve taken a classic YO! staple and given it a Mel’s makeover turning the beloved chicken katsu into a dippable sandwich, it tastes so good, I can’t wait for everyone to try it.”
Launching in all restaurants across the UK from the 9th of June, the limited-edition menu is set to ramp up the good vibes, fuel late nights, and bring everyone together in the best way. Why go for boring, beige football food when you can get a taste of something that’s really in a league of its own?
It’s Game Time Menu:

  • Katsu Dog – £10.95

  • Nacho Roll – £5.50

And YO! gets that some fans will be looking to sit back and watch the games at home this year. So to make things easier, they’ve also rolled out a full range of kiosks across UK Tesco stores – so that whilst you focus on the games, YO! has food sorted.
From the game-changing Cheeseburger Sushi Roll to the crowd pleasing Chimichurri Chicken Rolls that bring serious flavour, YO! fans will not be disappointed. As the menu heats up with the Fiery Buffalo Bites made even spicier with the Sauce Shop’s Buffalo Hot Sauce, the kiosk range is set to deliver full-time flavour.
