As more Londoners look for convenient and affordable ways to get around the capital, Raleigh is launching a new e-bike designed to make everyday cycling easier for more people.
The new Raleigh ONE Step Through has been developed around a simple idea: removing some of the barriers that stop people from choosing a bike for everyday travel.
Whether it’s commuting into central London, travelling between neighbourhoods, running errands or replacing short car and public transport journeys, cycling is becoming an increasingly popular option for people navigating the capital. Yet confidence, comfort and convenience remain key considerations for many would-be riders.
The new Raleigh ONE Step Through has been designed to help address those challenges, featuring a lower frame that makes getting on and off the bike easier, alongside a more upright riding position designed to increase comfort and confidence in busy city environments.
The launch comes as London continues to invest in cycling infrastructure, with an expanding network of cycle lanes and growing numbers of people choosing two wheels for everyday journeys. As cycling becomes a more practical transport option for a wider range of riders, accessibility and ease of use are becoming increasingly important factors when choosing a bike.
Built specifically for urban journeys, the Raleigh ONE Step Through combines a lightweight frame, integrated lights, removable battery and connected technology designed to make city riding simple and intuitive.
The bike also integrates with the Raleigh App, allowing riders to customise assistance levels, access security features and manage their membership package directly from their phone.
