Radnor Splash earns the Mumsnet Rated badge

Radnor SplashHighly successful soft drinks brand Radnor Splash has earned the Mumsnet Rated badge following a product test with parents.

A group of 91 Mumsnet testers were invited to try 250ml Tetra cartons of Radnor Splash in Orange & Passion Fruit and Apple & Raspberry fruity flavours. The lunchbox friendly cartons are perfectly sized for school days.

Made with Radnor Hills’ very own spring water and natural yet punchy fruit flavourings the low-calorie drinks are the perfect source for sugar free hydration.

Radnor Splash has been a family favourite in UK households for over 20 years. The brand sells at the rate of two units every second* and within Total Grocery, it is growing almost three times faster in terms of value than the flavoured water category**.

The Mumsnet Rated badge was awarded after 88% of the 91 Mumsnet testers recommended it.

Chris Sanders, Sales and Marketing Director of Radnor Hills, said: “A healthy drink for all ages, Radnor Splash is one of our most exciting brands and it’s experiencing extreme growth, regularly outperforming the market.

“We’re delighted that Radnor Splash 250ml Tetra has officially earned the Mumsnet Rated badge and it was also a great chance to get reviews and feedback from our customers.

“Testers loved the taste, the fruity format, the very convenient and portable size and the fact that our Tetra packs don’t need a straw. Now there’s even more reason to add a Splash to a child’s day.”

Rhiannon Evans, Head of Communications at Mumsnet, said: “We award our Mumsnet Rated badge to products that have been physically tested and positively reviewed by a panel of real parents from the Mumsnet community.

“Finding drinks that children enjoy and that work for parents is a familiar lunchbox challenge, but after putting Radnor Splash to the test in everyday family life, our testers highlighted its fruity, refreshing taste and convenient size for lunchboxes and days out. With 88% saying they would recommend it to friends and family, it’s earned our Mumsnet Rated badge.”

Radnor Splash 250ml Tetra is available from several retailers including ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons – with a pack of three cartons starting from an RSP of £1.

Radnor Hills will be running a social media campaign to promote the rating to shoppers as well as an awareness campaign across Mumsnet.
