Hoardings for adidas have appeared at Resorts World Birmingham this week, with the sportswear giant set to open in time for Christmas.

Located next to the Nike Factory Store at the leisure and entertainment complex beside the NEC, the new 8125 sq ft outlet store is the only one of its kind within the city, meaning shoppers will no longer need to head out of the region to get their hands on adidas running, fashion and football gear.

Jason Kirsch, director of operations at Resorts World Birmingham, said: “Bringing an adidas outlet to Resorts World is a real time of excitement for the destination and for the city. Having them open right next to Nike means visitors will find two of the biggest names in sport under one roof. Best of all, shoppers will be able to enjoy finding their favourite sportswear and fashion at outlet prices!”

The countdown has already begun, with hoardings being seen around the store on Friday, September 11, giving passers-by the first glimpse of what is on the way.

The new outlet store will have a wide range of outlet priced stock but also offer visitors the chance to shop a curated full price collection.

With the exciting launch on its way to the city before the festive season hits, fans can look forward to the new opening for the gifting season and beyond. All in all, it is shaping up to be an exciting time to be a Brummie.
