Aldi’s derm-approved Lacura sun lotion is a hit as temperatures rise above 20 degrees

As spring and summer approach, Aldi’s dermatologically tested Lacura Sun Care range demonstrates that top-tier sun protection doesn’t have to come with a premium price. Shoppers can enjoy savings compared to popular brands like Nivea and Garnier.

Award-winning and in stores now from just £2.69, the collection has earned praise from both shoppers and industry professionals. This Morning’s medical expert and dermatologist, Dr Amiee Vyas, previously highlighted the effectiveness of Aldi’s affordable sunscreens following rigorous testing by Which?, noting that “some of the cheapest sunscreens from Aldi are really great and powerful at protecting us – and those are the ones we should be going for.”

Further cementing its credentials, the Lacura SPF50+ Sensitive Sun Lotion (£3.49, 200ml) was awarded a ‘Great Value’ accreditation last summer. Fragrance-free and non-greasy, it’s suitable for sensitive skin and delivers reliable high-factor protection. The range also includes the Lacura SPF50+ Shine Control Face Sun Lotion (£2.89, 50ml), a lightweight, fast-absorbing formula that leaves skin fresh, hydrated and shine-free, alongside the Lacura SPF50+ Sensitive Face Lotion (£2.89, 50ml), providing immediate UVA and UVB protection for delicate complexions.

For all-over hydration, the Lacura Moisturising Sun Lotion (£2.95, 200ml), available in SPF50+ and SPF30, delivers instant high-factor protection with 24-hour moisture in a silky, non-sticky formula. Meanwhile, the Lacura Refreshing Dry Mist (£3.75, 200ml), also available in SPF50+ and SPF30, provides quick, invisible application with a lightweight finish.

Younger skin is catered for with the paediatrician-approved Lacura Baby & Kids Sensitive Lotion (£3.49, 200ml), designed to ensure maximum protection without irritation, as well as the Lacura Sensitive SPF50+ Kids Roll On (£2.69, 50ml) for convenient, targeted applications.

Completing the line-up, the Lacura Moisturising After Sun Lotion (£2.39, 200ml), enriched with glycerin and aloe vera, helps calm and refresh sun-exposed skin – making Lacura a go-to for the sunny months ahead.

Aldi’s award-winning Sun Care range is available in stores nationwide now.
