Asda As customers look to recreate restaurant-quality dining at home this Valentine’s Day, Asda is offering a true show-stopping centrepiece: the Exceptional by Asda Côte de Boeuf (avg. weight 500-800g), that serves two. Priced at just £27.69 per kg with individual pack prices ranging from £13.85 to £23.54, it represents one of the best-value Côte de Boeuf options on the market*.

British-sourced and matured for 30 days, each Côte de Boeuf is expertly prepared to deliver the ideal balance of tenderness and rich, beefy flavour. Available in 336 stores nationwide in time for Valentine’s Day, this limited-availability cut is not to be missed.

A classic French bone‑in ribeye, Côte de Boeuf is celebrated for both its marbling and distinctive bone, delivering a deep, umami flavour and striking presentation. Typically sold in 500g–800g portions, it is widely considered the “king of steaks” and a hallmark of premium brasserie dining.

With comparable Côte de Boeuf dishes often priced at £70–£80 in restaurants, Asda’s Exceptional offering allows customers to enjoy a truly elevated dining experience at home, without the luxury price tag.

The Exceptional by Asda Côte de Boeuf is available in selected stores now.

Or if you prefer to mix up your steak cuts, Asda has slashed the price of selected Exceptional steaks, including two gold winners at the 2025 World Steak Challenge.

  • Exceptional Aberdeen Angus Thick Cut 11oz Ribeye Steak, was £11.34, now just £8.00
  • Exceptional Aberdeen Angus Thick Cut 11oz Sirloin Steak, was £10.47, now £8.00

And the love doesn’t stop there…

  • Exceptional Aberdeen Angus Thick Cut 11oz Rump Steak, was £8.54, now £6.00
  • Exceptional Aberdeen Angus Fillet was £12.28, now £10.00.

And because no great steak should fly solo, Asda is rolling back prices on two knockout sauces including the Exceptional Creamy Three Peppercorn Sauce 150g, and the Exceptional Creamy Wild Mushroom Sauce 150g, to just £1 each, making it even easier for customers to elevate their steak night at home.

The offers run now until 18th February, giving customers plenty of time to plan the perfect date night.
