Asda slashes the price of its award-winning champagne to just £10

AsdaAsda has dropped the price of its award-winning Louvel Fontaine Champagne Brut from £19.98 to just £10.
Exclusive to Asda, the champagne is an IWSC Bronze Medal Winner 2025 and Decanter World Wine Awards Bronze Winner 2025 – making it a top-quality fizz at an unbeatable price.
Customers looking to stock up for their Christmas and New Year toasts or for any last-minute gifts, can take advantage of the offer from now until 31st December 2025.
Asda’s senior manager for wine sourcing, Clive Donaldson, recommends the Champagne as the perfect way to toast the festive season, describing it as “well balanced and fruity, with flavours of citrus and vanilla” – perfect to pair with smoked salmon or roast turkey.
A customer favourite too, the much-loved Champagne has an average of 4.5-star reviews on Asda.com, with comments including:
“Unbelievable value. Can’t really beat this Champagne for price.”
“My guests agreed that it was one of the best Champagnes we had ever tasted. I will certainly buy it again!”
“I’m fortunate to have tried a lot of Champagne; this is super easy to drink, with fine bubbles and lovely colour.”

Yellow Label Prosecco Spumante – £4.67 (was £6.48)
A delicious sparkler with zesty lemon, pear and apple flavours, balanced by crisp acidity. Winner of IWC Silver 2025, IWSC Bronze 2025, and Decanter Bronze 2025.
Exceptional Châteauneuf-du-Pape – £10 (was £14.47)
Created from a blend of grapes in the southern Rhône, rich and powerful with notes of red fruits, spice and black pepper, finishing with silky tannins – a classic choice for Christmas dinner.
Extra Special Amarone – £10 (was £16.97)
A bold Italian red with dried cherry and prune flavours, plus hints of chocolate and herbs. IWC Silver 2025, IWSC Bronze 2025, and winner of Good Housekeeping’s Christmas taste test.
The deals are available in-store and online from 19th December until 31st December – perfect for festive celebrations or last-minute gifts.
