Asendia, cross-border e-commerce specialist, has launched e-PAQ GO, a global out-of-home (OOH) delivery solution that consolidates multiple carrier networks into a single integration.
In response to shopper and retailer needs, e-PAQ GO provides retailers with access to an extensive and international network of almost 180,000 lockers, convenience stores, and collection points across 25 European countries, including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and will soon extend to global markets.
Thanks to a recent partnership with HubBox software, e-PAQ GO integrates the Asendia OOH network with retailers’ existing checkout systems through a single API connection.
By consolidating different logistics provider relationships, e-PAQ GO directly addresses the complexity that challenges many cross-border retailers. Making deliveries to an OOH location saves retailers time and cuts costs, giving significant operational efficiency. This works for shoppers too, as they no longer have to wait in for parcels. They are kept informed with local language delivery updates.
The fundamental shift in European delivery
The launch comes as retailers respond to a clear shift in consumer behaviour. In 2025, lockers became the second most preferred delivery option among European e-shoppers (The 2025 Geopost E-shopper Barometer, a survey of 30,700 e-shoppers in 22 European countries). In response, the Asendia Beyond Borders survey, conducted amongst 1,000 retailers across UK, USA, Europe and APAC in January 2026, reveals they are rapidly expanding delivery options. Out-of-home delivery is seeing consistent growth across European markets, with over a third of retailers adopting or planning parcel lockers, and nearly 30% expanding parcel shops and collection points.
The findings demonstrate that demand for delivery choice is consistent across markets. In Italy, for example, four in ten (40%) retailers surveyed are offering or planning to expand parcel lockers, while Spain shows strong commitment to both parcel shops and lockers, with over a third investing in each. In Germany, 30% of retailers questioned have already or plan to invest in lockers.
The convenience of this fast growing consumer preference is underscored by the fact that today 94% of the European population live within 10 minutes of a Pickup point (2025 Geopost E-shopper Barometer).
Simon Batt, chief executive officer at Asendia, said: “Out-of-home complements home delivery by giving shoppers real choice. Some want the convenience of collecting from a locker on their commute. Others prefer picking up from a local store, and many still want home delivery. Real choice means supporting all of those behaviours.”
He continued: “e-PAQ GO makes it simple to offer all of these options. It gives retailers instant access to a European network of parcel lockers and collection points, with delivery notifications to keep shoppers informed. By consolidating deliveries in one place, it saves time and cuts costs. With e-PAQ GO, retailers can deliver the operational efficiency and lifestyle-driven convenience European shoppers expect all through one solution.”
Further expansion for the e-PAQ GO network beyond Europe is planned into Australia, New Zealand, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
e-PAQ GO’s European network consists of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
