This autumn, Balfour Winery is unveiling its latest innovation, the Sparkle for Every Scene campaign, which harnesses AI technology to help wine lovers find their perfect sparkling wine from the newly rebranded Leslie’s Non-Vintage collection.
This interactive campaign uses a fun, personality-driven quiz to match participants with the sparkling wine that best suits their preferences, bringing an engaging and personalised touch to the wine-buying experience.
With Leslie’s Non-Vintage range – one of the most accessible English sparkling wines on the market – the campaign makes it easier than ever for people to discover English wine. Balfour’s wines are already available in Fuller’s pubs, through Matthew Clark, and across Balfour’s own pubs and venues. Thousands are expected to take the quiz this year and “find their Leslie’s” just in time for autumn festivities.
The Sparkle for Every Scene campaign coincides with the recent rebrand of the Leslie’s range, which has adopted a much cleaner and fresher look. This redesign aligns with Balfour’s wider rebrand launched earlier this year, featuring a striking slanted label set at 11 degrees – a subtle nod to the architecture of Balfour’s winery and home.
Balfour Winery’s marketing director, Jack Merrylees, shared his excitement about the campaign:

The ‘Sparkle for Every Scene’ campaign does exactly that, offering people a fun and engaging way to discover which of our Leslie’s wines is perfect for them. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate the personality of our wines, and we can’t wait to see the results.”

This year has been a particularly strong one for Balfour Winery, with sales across their range growing by over 20%. The Sparkle for Every Scene campaign is set to expand internationally for the first time, marking Leslie’s Non-Vintage collection as one of the most exported English sparkling wines to date.
