Bebeto unveils heartwarming NPD for Valentine’s Day 2026

BebetoBebeto, the leading confectionery challenger brand, is kicking off 2026 with the launch of two innovative new products for Valentine’s Day: Fizzy Heart Popz (150g) and Freeze Crunchy Strawberry Hearts (35g). The items will be rolling out into Poundland and Heron Food stores from w/c 26th January.

In 2025, consumer spending for Valentine’s Day rose 7.1% year-on-year, with 47% of consumers buying gifts (Mintel, 2025) and 12% of Britons choosing to purchase confectionery items as presents (YouGov, Feb 2025). This creates an opportune moment for Bebeto to unveil two exciting NPD ahead of Valentine’s Day 2026.

Phil Hulme, commercial director at Bebeto, says: “Valentine’s Day is a crucial seasonal date for shoppers and sweet fans. In 2025, Bebeto introduced its first-ever Valentine’s range which contributed to an impressive 25.5% incremental growth in January–February sales compared to the same period in 2024. The Fizzy Heart Popz are ideal for sharing with loved ones and the Freeze Dried Hearts have been developed following the phenomenal success of our innovative Freeze Dried range which generated nearly £4 million in RSV within just six months of launching.”

The NPD items are perfect for Valentine’s Day shoppers seeking affordable treats to gift and share with loved ones this February.

Bebeto’s 2026 Valentine’s Day Range:

Fizzy Heart Popz (NPD)

Delicious heart shaped treats. Strawberry-flavoured with a sugar coating. Perfect for gifting and sharing with the ones you love.

Available in 150g bags with an RRP of £1.

Contains no artificial colours and Halal certified.

Freeze Crunchy Strawberry Hearts (NPD)

Bebeto’s classic gummy hearts transformed into a light and super crunchy treat.

Each resealable pouch is designed to preserve the sweets’ signature crunch by locking out moisture. The freeze-drying process, commonly used in space exploration and emergency rations – freezes the sweets before using a vacuum to extract moisture. The result is a bold flavour experience and an ultra-crunchy texture that consumers have dubbed a total game-changer.

Available in 35g resealable pouch bags, with an RRP of £2.

Contains no artificial colours and Halal certified.

Stockists: Poundland and Heron Food

Bebeto’s Valentine’s Day range will be available in Poundland and Heron Food (Freeze Crunchy Strawberry Hearts only) from w/c 26th January.

*Pricing at retailer’s discretion
