Botivo secures retail listing with Ocado

Botivo Botivo, the Big-Sipping Botanical Aperitivo, has secured another major retail listing. Following successful launches in Wholefoods in 2024 and Waitrose in January 2025, Botivo is continuing its retail momentum with a new listing on Ocado.

Known for its unique flavour profile, natural ingredients and versatile serving suggestions, Botivo’s arrival at Ocado highlights the growing consumer demand for distinctive, high-quality drinks. The launch also reflects Ocado’s commitment to embracing emerging and unique products, offering consumers a taste of true craftsmanship in the drink sector.

Botivo, was the first ever non-alcoholic drink (excluding beer) to be stocked on Wholefoods in the UK and is now the ‘best selling spirit’ with the retailer (including alcohol). Botivo’s debut in Waitrose, across 280 stores nationwide, was similarly met with impressive sales and it is already the top 2 selling non alcoholic spirit in only 5 months since launch. These listings demonstrate the strong demand for taste and quality led drinks, regardless of the ABV, and confirms the brand’s leading stance in the sector.

“Ocado is the perfect place for the Botivo foodie customer. We can’t wait to replicate the success we have seen in Waitrose, Whole Foods and Majestic in this next big retailer. A big thank you to the Ocado team for championing craft and independent brands in our category,” said Imme Ermgassen, co-founder of Botivo.

Ocado, who serve over 500,000 customers per week, are excited to add Botivo to their range. “Botivo has been making waves not just in the restaurant scene but in retail too. It’s such a unique, delicious product and the non mimic part of the category is seeing so much momentum. The timing is perfect for us. The low and no-alcohol category is outgrowing the rest of the market, with low and no spirits up over 90% compared to 2024. We can’t wait to offer Botivo to our Ocado customers.”

Born from hedonism, rather than moderation, Botivo is pioneering its own category, built on taste, craftsmanship and quality. Multi-award winning and a firm favourite of chefs, food critics and sommeliers, Botivo is well positioned to expand its reach.

Botivo is available to purchase on Ocado here.
