Candy Realms refreshes sugar bag range with bigger shelf impact, £1 value and new varieties

Candy Realms World of Sweets is strengthening its Candy Realms sugar confectionery range with a refreshed pack design, new flavour-led varieties and a clear value proposition for convenience and independent retailers.

The updated range has been developed to help retailers offer shoppers affordable, colourful and easy-to-shop treats across a broad choice of popular sugar confectionery. Candy Realms is available in both £1 PMP formats, giving shoppers clear price visibility at fixture, and non-PMP formats for retailers looking for greater pricing flexibility. The range includes £1 PMP bags at 160g and non-PMP bags at higher weights up to 190g. The range also includes a large choice of Vegan bags including Sour Dummies, Fizzy Strawberries and Peach Rings

The refresh builds on Candy Realms’ strong momentum, with the brand reaching £10 million in sales within three years of launch. The range is also home to one of World of Sweets’ best-selling products, Candy Realms Candy Watches & Necklaces, demonstrating its proven appeal with retailers and shoppers.

The new-look packaging has been created to make the range work harder on shelf. Brighter colours, bolder flavour cues, larger product windows and a more consistent brand identity across the fixture give Candy Realms greater stand-out, while helping shoppers quickly identify the product, flavour and value on offer.

The redesign also gives retailers a stronger, more cohesive sugar bag range that can be merchandised together to create a colourful and impactful display. With clear product visibility and improved pack hierarchy, the updated range is designed to support impulse purchase and make shopper decision-making easier in busy confectionery fixtures.

To further refresh the fixture, World of Sweets is adding new Candy Realms varieties, including Pineapple Mix, featuring pineapple rings and fizzy pineapple pieces, and Jelly Faves, a mix of popular jelly sweets including twin cherries, cola bottles and friendship rings.

The wider Candy Realms range includes sour, fizzy, fruity and jelly options, giving retailers a broad and simple sugar bag offer that covers key shopper preferences while maintaining a strong value message.

Nat Panter, brand manager at World of Sweets, said: “Candy Realms has been developed to give retailers a commercial sugar bag range that delivers on value, variety and shelf impact.

“The range gives retailers the flexibility of both £1 PMP bags at 160g and non-PMP bags at higher weights up to 190g. That means retailers can offer clear price reassurance for shoppers through PMP packs, while also having larger non-PMP options where they want more flexibility.

“The redesign is a major step forward for the brand. The packs are brighter, clearer and more consistent, with stronger flavour cues and larger product windows to help the range stand out in busy confectionery fixtures. Combined with new varieties, Candy Realms gives retailers a simple way to refresh their sugar bag offer and drive impulse sales.”

The refreshed Candy Realms range is available through World of Sweets and Hancocks, with new varieties rolling out from Autumn 2026.
