Château d’Estoublon is thrilled to announce that its Roseblood Rosé 2024 has been ranked #29 on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines list, making it not only the highest-placed rosé overall, but also the only Provence rosé to feature on the list.
Wine Spectator’s prestigious annual list evaluates over 10,000 wines through rigorous blind tastings, recognising only the most outstanding wineries and vintages worldwide with a place in the Top 100.
“Seeing Roseblood Rosé 2024 in Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines is a tremendous honour” said Victor Joyeux, technical director at Château d’Estoublon. “Being the only rosé from Provence and the highest-ranked rosé overall underlines the character of our estate, the skill of our team, and our dedication to crafting wines of precision, balance and finesse. This is a great milestone”
Crafted from Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, and Rolle in the Coteaux Varois en Provence, Wine Spectator describes Roséblood Rosé 2024 as a fragrant, floral rosé with a burst of watermelon and strawberry lemonade notes. It maintains vibrant energy from start to finish, with a saline mineral foundation offsetting the creamy fruit. Balanced and delicious, showing a waft of smoke on the well-meshed finish.
About Château d’Estoublon
Château d’Estoublon has been rooted in the Alpilles since 1489, in the Les Baux-de-Provence valley, and stands as a reference for the refined Provençal art de vivre. The estate produces Grands Vins in red, white and rosé, alongside Roseblood, its signature cuvées: fresh, precise and delicately crafted wines.
Estoublon is also renowned for its exceptional olive oils, multi-award-winning in international competitions and officially recognized by the prestigious Comité Colbert, the association representing the leading French luxury houses.
As part of Airelles’ Maisons Privées, the Château can be fully privatized for exclusive stays, as well as private or corporate events. On site, La Table d’Estoublon offers a refined, contemporary take on Provençal cuisine, while bespoke tastings and guided tours give guests the chance to explore the estate’s history, terroir and savoir-faire in depth.
