Coley Porter BellGlobal branding and design consultancy, Coley Porter Bell, has revealed a new premium gifting range for Tesco Finest – a curated collection of quality products to surprise and delight.
As part of Tesco Finest’s ongoing commitment to enhance its perception as the store’s mark of excellence, ahead of Christmas and beyond, Coley Porter Bell has designed a new premium gifting range. This consists of new and exciting products across multiple categories and formats, including delicious chocolates, indulgent hampers, and wines that have been curated as part of a composite gift offering.
No matter what the occasion – whether it be a ‘thank you’, a ‘congratulations’ and everything in between – the range has been carefully considered to let the gift do the talking and satisfy the most sophisticated shopper looking for a higher-end purchase. A crafted ‘less is more’ design approach coupled with upscaled materials and detailed finishing touches elevate the range quality and premium positioning.
Coley Porter Bell worked with Tesco by providing strategic direction to raise Finest’s role in the premium gifting space. As part of the design approach, Coley Porter Bell worked with illustrator Adèle Leyris to develop bespoke illustrations for the collectable tins that form part of the wider gifting range. The range is now available in Tesco stores.
Caroline Kelly, head of packaging design for Tesco, said: “Working with Coley Porter Bell on this was not only an opportunity to craft our packaging design offering but also strengthen the equity of the Finest brand and build something truly giftworthy.”
Jessica McKenzie, head of brand – Tesco seasonal and Finest, said: “We are excited to be launching our Finest gifting range. It’s been fantastic working with the team at Coley Porter Bell to develop giftable packaging under the Finest brand, which customers will be proud to give to their friends and loved ones.”
Isaac Sodipo, design director at Coley Porter Bell, said: “A highlight for me during this project was the creation of biscuit and hot beverage tins. Working with Adèle allowed us to create a set of unique, intricate illustrations that reveal individual product stories through beautifully crafted elements and form a set of truly collectible items that I would be proud to gift.”
