Costa Coffee, the Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop, today (10th October 2025) announces the opening of its new Drive-Thru store in Bishop Auckland, offering a convenient and welcoming destination for coffee lovers.
Located in Auckland Leisure and Retail Park, the store features a bright, modern interior with digital menu boards and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for morning meetups, afternoon breaks, or a quick stop on the go.
The Drive-Thru Lane provides a fast and easy way to enjoy Costa Coffee’s expertly handcrafted beverages, made with the brand’s iconic Mocha Italia Signature Blend, alongside a wide selection of delicious food. Customers can also enjoy freshly baked pastries served throughout the day, an ideal pick-me-up at any time.
The opening of the Bishop Auckland store has created 15 new jobs, supporting local employment and the community’s growth.

The Bishop Auckland Drive-Thru is open from 5:30am to 8:00pm Monday to Saturday, and 7:00am to 6:00pm on Sunday. Orders can also be placed via Click & Collect through the Costa Club App.
