Deliveroo today announces the launch of Deliveroo Reservations, a new in-app feature enabling customers to browse real-time restaurant availability and book tables directly through Deliveroo.
Initially launching in London, the feature integrates SevenRooms’ industry-leading reservation and CRM technology into the Deliveroo platform, giving customers access to tables at hundreds of top London restaurants, including sought-after reservations at Dishoom, Dove, Hide, Kricket, Barrafina, Kolae, Murano and many more.
The launch marks a significant step in Deliveroo’s ambition to support restaurants beyond delivery, helping partners grow in-store sales and reach new customers.
The move also follows DoorDash’s acquisition of Deliveroo and SevenRooms in 2025, and represents the first major product integration since the businesses came together. It also builds on DoorDash’s initial US launch of in-app reservations in October 2025.
Helping restaurants increase discoverability & grow in-store sales
SevenRooms is widely regarded as one of the leading technology platforms for restaurants, with its best in class CRM, guest experience, and marketing tools to help grow in-store sales and strengthen customer relationships.
By integrating with SevenRooms, Deliveroo is making reservations available to consumers at scale with its highly engaged user base, opening up new discovery opportunities so diners can browse and book top restaurants in one place.
Alongside increased distribution and visibility for restaurants, the integration directly connects Deliveroo bookings with SevenRooms. This means availability, bookings and cancellations are available in one place and update instantly without any manual input.
Helping Londoners book exclusive restaurants
The launch comes as new data reveals that more than half (56%) of Londoners have given up on being spontaneous for dinner plans because of ‘Booking Dread’ – dread around the admin of finding an available table. From ‘hanger’ to heartbreak, six in ten (60%) have literally given up on dinner because the research took too long, while more than half (51%) use three or more different websites or platforms just to find one reservation.
Deliveroo Reservations addresses this reservation fatigue by offering:
Live availability: Real-time booking data with a ‘What’s Available Tonight’ feature so customers can understand actual availability, even when booking last minute or spontaneously.
Quality restaurant selection: From Dove, Dishoom, Coal Office, A.Wong, Barrafina, Din Tai Fung, Cafe Francois, Murano and Hide, this launch is making it easier for Londoners to book tables at the city’s most-wanted restaurants.
One-stop-shop discovery: Bringing together reservations opportunities at some of the most popular restaurants all over London under one app aims to make discovering a table and making a booking an easier experience for consumers.
Seamless booking flow: Auto-filled details from Deliveroo account and calendar integration meaning booking is smooth and fast.
‘Notify Me’ alerts: Users can opt-in for notifications if a fully booked restaurant receives a last-minute cancellation.
Group bookings: Easily browse and book tables for groups of up to eight people.
What’s more, real-time reservations data could boost London’s night-time economy with almost three quarters (73%) of Londoners saying they would eat out more if the process of booking was easier.
Suzy McClintock, VP Consumer and New Verticals at Deliveroo, said: “This launch is about supporting restaurants to grow in new ways. Whether it’s a Deliveroo order or a reservation in-store, we want to drive discovery, demand and revenue across every channel.
“By fully integrating SevenRooms into the Deliveroo app, we’re giving restaurants access to new customers and giving diners an easier way to discover and book some of London’s best tables – all in one place.”
Joel Montaniel, VP, Head of SevenRooms & co-founder added: “Restaurants thrive on the relationships they build with their guests. Bringing reservations into the Deliveroo app gives London restaurants a new way to connect with diners and grow, while making it easy for consumers to discover and book great restaurants.”
The feature is rolling out across London with plans to expand further across the UK later this year.
