Deliveroo partners with Not On The High Street to deliver personalised gifts on demand

Deliveroo and Not On The High Street, the online home of over 5,500 UK small brands, have today announced a new partnership giving customers access to on-demand delivery of more than a thousand gifts and personalised products in as little as 25 minutes.

From today, at least 15 small brands across London will be available to order from on the Deliveroo app under the umbrella of Not On The High Street, with more independent brands on the gifting site able to sign up as the partnership expands. As part of Deliveroo’s drive to support small businesses, this partnership aims to help broaden the reach of these self-made UK independents and bring high-quality gifts directly to customers’ doors.

With products ranging from jewellery and stationery to clothing and games, the first wave of independent businesses listed include jewellers Hurley Burley, lifestyle boutique Heliotique, and British-Ghanaian fabrics business FLO London.

For the first time, Deliveroo customers will be able to order personalised gifts on-demand, making the choice of gifts that much more tailored and unique. Hurley Burley – a luxury jewellery and accessories company – is a female-founded business who create unique and personalised gifts, with its most popular products including its personalised birthstone and freshwater pearl bracelet, and personalised 18ct gold plated sun and star necklace. Londoners will also now be able to order these gifts on-demand on Deliveroo, including their personalised initial leather heart corner bookmark, 9ct gold mini initial necklace and silver celestial disc hoop earrings .

Heliotique was founded by Lily King almost ten years ago, inspired by a quest for the ‘perfect gift’.

As a curator of gifts and lifestyle essentials, it offers customers a carefully selected range of products from some of the UK’s finest independent brands. From clothing and fashion accessories to beauty products, each item is handpicked to ensure quality and style. Joining the Deliveroo platform via Not On The High Street, customers will be able to order gifts like Heliotique’s seagrass birdhouse, Dolly Parton door stopper, or cashmere socks to wish a friend congratulations or a happy birthday.

The partnership perfectly complements Deliveroo’s new ‘give-a-gift’ function which lets customers send gifts to others in just a few clicks, and comes as ‘Deliveroo Shopping’ continues to grow since its launch in November 2023. Consumers can now shop from retailers that sell everything from DIY to homeware, toys, flowers, baby items and gifts. Recent partnerships announced include the likes of B&Q,  Ann Summers, Boots, and Screwfix as well as The Perfume Shop due to launch in the coming months.

Eric French, chief operating officer at Deliveroo, said: “We are delighted to welcome Not On The High Street to the Deliveroo platform. We are passionate about helping small independent businesses grow and reach new customers. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Not On The High Street, who expertly curate the best of small brands, making them the perfect partner.

“More and more people are turning to small businesses and independents for special gifts, and our customers will now be able to do just that on-demand. We are excited by the continued expansion of ‘Deliveroo Shopping’, and this latest collaboration shows how we are bringing more of the UK’s most loved brands to our customers’ doors.”

Leanne Rothell, CEO at Not On The High Street, said: “We are delighted to partner with Deliveroo to expand their gifting range. At Not On The High Street, we are dedicated to championing small brands and connecting customers with the range of high-quality, distinctive and thoughtful products that they offer.

“Not only does this collaboration with Deliveroo offer an incredible opportunity for our small brand Partners to reach a wider audience, but it allows customers to find something special to mark any occasion, even at the very last minute.”

Jessie Sampson, creative director at Hurley Burley, said: “Here at Hurley Burley, we’re over the moon to be partnering with Deliveroo and Not On The High Street, giving us the chance to bring our beautiful jewellery and personalised gifts to more people than ever before, faster than ever before. As a small and dedicated team, we’ve always been proud of our next-day delivery but now, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or last-minute celebration, our customers can have the perfect bespoke gift delivered straight to their door within an hour.

“Each piece in our range tells a story and by making our gifts even more accessible than ever, we’re delighted to be helping our customers celebrate life’s moments, big and small. Like Deliveroo, our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re beyond excited to see what this partnership brings for our small business and our growing community of loyal Hurley Burley customers alike!”

Maawura Totoe, founder of FLO London, said: “Partnering with Deliveroo through Not on the High Street presents an exciting opportunity to reach a broader audience, many of whom might not have encountered our brand before. It’s a fantastic way to share our cherished designs and fabrics, along with the heartfelt messages behind them. We can’t wait to see how people style their wardrobes with our bold colours and join us in celebrating our passion for vibrant, eye-catching designs. This collaboration not only helps us grow our business but also brings our love for bold fashion to more people than ever before.”
