Ahead of Earth Day (22 April), The Natural Love Company launches the UK’s first range of ocean plastic sex toys. Founded in 2020, The Natural Love Company is the UK’s leading sustainable intimacy brand that specialises in creating a wide range of aesthetically pleasing and sustainable sex toys and sexual wellness products.

Consisting of four products, the innovative new collection is a UK first and each item has an inner body that is made with 100% recycled ocean plastic. Globally, the use of recycled ocean plastics is becoming a popular solution for many manufacturers that are looking to address marine pollution concerns. The UN has estimated that the volume of plastic pollution entering the ocean each year is set to double or triple by 2040.

As consumer awareness of recycled ocean plastic products rises, The Natural Love Company shares that between April and October 2022 searches for ‘recycled ocean plastics’ soared by 567%.

Now available for purchase, the Elemi bullet vibrator (£32.95) is the first product in the range to launch. Featuring ten unique vibration settings and a sleek minimalist design, the Elemi also boasts a quiet Gentle Touch™ mode to support both beginners and those more experienced using sex toys to find their ideal intensity. Users can enjoy over one hour of play and a seamless magnetic USB charging process. The Natural Love Company is a carbon-neutral business and offsets every gram of carbon created for each purchase made on its website.

The remainder of the recycled ocean plastics range will launch later this month. The additional items will include the Saro; a classic rabbit vibrator dildo, the Jasmine; an elegant clitoral suction vibrator and the Cassia, a dual-ended wand vibrator and G-spot dildo. All items will be available both online and via retailers including Harmony Store and Amazon.

With 400% year-on-year growth, The Natural Love Company believes that more Brits than ever are keen to enjoy a more sustainable sex life. Commenting on the launch of the new recycled ocean plastics range, Ben Foster, Co-founder and Director of The Natural Love Company said: “As we enter this new phase of growth we’re excited to be providing consumers with the UK’s first range of recycled ocean plastic sex toys. Around the world, marine plastic pollution remains a major problem and as a business, we’re determined to help play our part in cleaning up the world’s oceans. There is huge potential for recycled ocean plastics and we can’t wait to hear our customers’ feedback on the new range. We’re also looking forward to announcing our new plans for the rest of the year soon. Part of this will include replacing our entire range of existing sex toys so that they are all made from ocean plastics. Watch this space for further updates
