Rule-breaking dark chocolate brand, FATSO, has taken flight with a new listing into WHSmith Travel stores.
The new deal will see FATSO’s full range of four flavours gracing the shelves of WHSmith outlets located in train stations and airports across the country, giving the Richmond-Upon-Thames-based dark chocolate brand the chance to show up in front of commuters and holiday makers as the festive season begins.
“We are very excited to be working with WHSmith Travel. They are, whatever the occasion, synonymous with travelling. Through partnership, in-store activation and of course, great tasting dark chocolate, we hope our bars will become the travel-treat essential for all flyers and train riders. As we enter a hectic time of travel, we hope our bars bring something a bit different to the chocolate shelves across airports and train stations, as the perfect gift for a loved one,” comments co-founder of FATSO, Ella McKay.
FATSO launched into WHSmith Travel stores earlier this month and is already achieving strong sales, beating other premium brands in the category by 10% as the retailer’s customers discover new products and treats for their journey, or as gifts for the person at the other end.
FATSO uses only the best high quality ingredients for its finest Colombian dark chocolate, and is raising the bar for high street chocolate brands, proving that dark chocolate can have just as much fun and be just as delicious as milk. Its personality-packed bars come in four great flavours that will be available to WHSmith customers: Morn’n Glory, Nan’s Stash, Home Run and Kings Ransom.
“We believe that dark chocolate, like life, should be less savoured and MORE devoured. FATSO is all about More Chunk, More Flavour, More Ethics, More Love, More Care. Because More Matters. We have fun with our flavours and this new venture into WHSmith Travel stores shows that FATSO appeals to chocolate lovers everywhere,” concludes Ella.
FATSO’s full range is available in over 100 WHSmith Travel stores including all major airports and train stations.
