Froot Pops, the UK’s leading frozen fruit snacking brand, set to make its Irish debut

Froot Pops, the UK’s leading frozen fruit snacking brand, is set to make its Irish debut.  Rolling out across the full Dunnes Store Estate (RRP €7.50 / 220g bag) three SKUs will be hitting the freezer aisle from next week; frozen raspberries coated in white & dark chocolate; strawberries coated in white & milk chocolate and  frozen raspberries coated in white & milk chocolate.

Froot Pops has also secured significant support from Tesco Ireland, with its  strawberries coated in white & milk chocolate and  frozen raspberries coated in white & milk chocolate launching in 75 stores in the Republic of Ireland and a further 25 stores in Northern Ireland.  The launch will be supported by an exciting cross-brand promotion with Crosta Mollica, offering 2 for €10 on any flavour pizza and a bag of Froot Pops.

The move into Ireland comes at a time of significant success for the business, with Froot Pops delivering 400% year-on-year growth and continuing to establish itself as one of the UK’s fastest-growing frozen snack brands.  Launched to market by Ana Martins in 2024, the brand is already celebrated for bringing bold flavour, colour and a fresh perspective to the freezer aisle, through its range of British made whole fruits dipped in silky chocolate.

Founder Ana Martins says:  “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved with Froot Pops. What started as a homemade treat has grown into one of the UK’s fastest-growing frozen snack brands, and now being able to bring the brand to shoppers across Ireland feels like a really exciting next chapter.  We’re hugely grateful for the support from both Tesco and Dunnes in helping us make our market debut and we can’t wait to hear what customers think”.

The brand recently unveiled a bold new visual identity, designed to give the brand greater impact and stand-out on shelf, while retaining its playful personality.  Taking inspiration from the bold optimism and graphic style of the 1960s, the packs boast a fun retro feel.
