Oat milk chocolate brand, HAPPi, is continuing in its eco-friendly efforts with the launch of its new Easter bars.
With an extra 8000 tonnes of packaging waste generated every Easter, traditional chocolate Easter eggs are not the most sustainable choice. To help combat this, HAPPi has launched a range of egg-shaped bars to target Easter egg lovers who are happy to ditch their usual hollow egg.
The perfect treat for adults and children alike, the new Easter Egg bars come in three delicious flavours; Plain Milk, Salted Honeycomb and White Raspberry.
“We are really excited to launch our new Easter Egg bars, as we know there is demand for great quality and eco-friendly choices at this time of year,” says Gavin Cox, Founder of HAPPi.
“The new Easter Egg bars are packaged in 100% recyclable materials and create much less waste than standard eggs,” continues Gavin. “We are really proud of the fact that we will be able to help reduce waste this Easter, as well as deliver the same great-tasting, rich and creamy chocolate that we are known for,” he adds.
HAPPi’s new Easter egg bars are an excellent alternative for those looking for great-tasting, plant-based chocolate this Easter. They also boast 35% less sugar than other mass market brands.
HAPPi only use cocoa that is slave and child labour free from the world’s best cacao-growing country, Colombia and sourced by renowned family-owned Lukar Chocolate. HAPPi is committed to investing in sustainable farming of its chocolate and ensuring it is ethically sourced.
HAPPi’s new Easter Bars are RRP £6.49 for a 140g bar available from Waitrose and to the trade from 17th February.. To find out more, please visit https://happichoc.com
