Functional drinks brand Hip Pop is anticipating an exciting 2025 after launching in over 1,200 stores across The Netherlands and Belgium towards the end of last year.
The Manchester based brewer of gut-friendly kombucha and soda is now stocked in over 900 Albert Heijn stores in both countries, with products including the Tropical Peach Living Soda, Pink Grapefruit Living Soda, Blueberry & Ginger Kombucha and the award-winning Strawberry & Pineapple Kombucha.
The Netherlands – where the brand is already listed in over 200 Holland & Barrett stores – is a growing market for Hip Pop, with the Ginger & Turmeric Living Soda and Pink Grapefruit Living Soda now available for customers to purchase from selected PLUS Retail stores.
Emma Thackray, co-founder of Hip Pop, said: “Building a commercially successful brand that makes a positive difference is what we stand for here at Hip Pop. We produce soft drinks that not only taste amazing but are a genuinely different and better option, so for our delicious kombucha and soda to be making their way across the globe is a huge achievement which we couldn’t be more proud of. Watch out – Hip Pop are taking on Europe!”
Since it launched in 2019, Hip Pop has continued to produce mouthwatering drinks that not only taste good but do good too. The brand’s entire range is 100% natural, vegan-friendly and low in calories, making every single one of its products a healthy alternative to traditional fizzy drinks.
Last year, the challenger brand expanded its list of stockists to include Marks & Spencer, Co-op and Ocado, in addition to securing commercial partnerships with Total Fitness and Zizzi. Hip Pop co-founders Emma Thackray and Kenny Goodman were also named ‘Maker & Creator Entrepreneur Of The Year’ (North West) at the Great British Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2024.
