Hotel Chocolat launches all-new Boxed SelectionsAfter 21 years of setting the luxury gifting bar with the Sleekster and H-Boxes, Hotel Chocolat is staying true to its originality value by reinventing a new generation of thoughtful and imaginatively crafted gifts.

Curated for every taste, occasion and gifting budget, the Boxed Selections feature a 3-piece all the way up to a 58-piece boxed selection with prices starting at £5. The transformation marks a meaningful shift toward gifts as unique as its recipient. With the outer design representing the Love Match flavour profiles, customers can tailor to their giftees tastes.

Hotel Chocolat launches all-new Boxed SelectionsTeresa Peck, head of global category srategy at Hotel Chocolat, said: “It’s a bold decision to remove our recognised Sleekster and H-Boxes that our customers come back for, but the gifting landscape has changed. Ultimately, if we want to stay leaders in premium chocolate gifting, we have to continue being inventors and not become scared of change – especially when it’s change for good.”

“We’ve listened to what customers want when buying a chocolate gift. We tick the top two boxes of consumers wanting to gift a brand that has a good reputation (47%) and high-quality ingredients (46%). The third most important factor was the feeling associated with it, as 45% want to give something that’s elevated and not an everyday treat.¹ Our research showed there isn’t a clear price bracket consumers typical stick to when buying chocolate presents. So, our goal was to create the complete chocolate gift at multiple price points to ensure accessibility for everyone.”

Layered with little discoveries, the ALL-NEW range makes the reveal every bit as memorable as the taste. Inside, each box presents Hotel Chocolat’s ‘more cacao, less sugar’ creations. The larger boxes share recipe and ingredient stories tucked beneath each lid.

Whether it’s a gift for a milestone moment or simply to say ‘thank you’, customers can choose a complimentary message wraps that has space to add a handwritten note for the final personal touch.

Hotel ChocolatThe 9-, 18-, 27- and 29-piece Boxed Selections and complimentary message wraps will be available in all UK stores and online from Tuesday 3rd March. The 3-,6- and 58-piece Boxed Selections will follow on Tuesday 14th April. Seasonal message wraps will also launch for key calendar moments. The first being a Mother’s Day message wrap launching on the 3rd March.
