Jacob’s Mini Cheddars, Jacob’s Crinklys and Jacob’s Bitespladis, the global snacking company behind some of the UK’s most loved and iconic brands, is turning up the heat across the Jacob’s baked snack range with a limited edition sizzling collaboration with Frank’s RedHot, the world’s #1 hot sauce.

Consumer favourites Jacob’s Mini Cheddars, Jacob’s Crinklys and Jacob’s Bites are being given a spicy makeover with Frank’s iconic blend of flavour and heat. The UK is home to spice connoisseurs, where over half (53%) the population confess they prefer spicy food, while hot and spicy flavours have been growing apace in the savoury snacking category.

“We know that the UK’s love of spice is here to stay, particularly among young snackers,” says Kate Stokes, Marketing Manager, pladis UK&I. “As shoppers continue their hunt for bold and exciting flavour innovations, we’re excited to kick things up a notch with Frank’s RedHot, introducing three of our delicious baked snacks in their spiciest form yet.

“Our crispy, crunchy savoury snacks are heating up just in time for summer, making them the perfect choice for sharing between friends and family, or as an irresistible treat for one.”

Rachel Pitman, head of EMEA partnerships and e-commerce, Frank’s Redhot adds: “We’re thrilled to combine the unmistakable flavour of Frank’s RedHot with the iconic crunch of Jacob’s. This partnership elevates every snacking occasion by taking taste up a notch and, as demand for bold flavours continues to grow, this launch presents an exciting opportunity for retailers to drive incremental sales and attract flavour-seeking shoppers.”

Jacob’s Mini Cheddars x Frank’s RedHot are available in 150g sharing bags (RRP £2.00) before launching in a 90g PMP (£1.25) for independent retailers; Jacob’s Crinklys x Frank’s RedHot are available in 150g sharing bags (RRP £2.00) before launching in a 90g PMP (£1.25), while Jacob’s Bites x Frank’s RedHot come in a 125g sharing box (RRP £2.00). The baked snacks range is launching across wholesale depots, convenience stores and multiple retailers from 7 July.
