JD Sports and Sturdy OffToday JD, the leading retailer for youth fashion and sportswear brands is proud to announce an explosive partnership with Sturdy Off – a junior internet platform that has taken the social media world by storm, continuing to accelerate in growth across the UK and globally. Together, in true collaboration, the two partners are proud to announce the launch of the Sturdy Certified initiative. Featuring newly co-funded JD Sturdy Studio in north London designed to empower and celebrate the potential of UK youth across various creative fields including dance, music production, content creation, and business & finance mentorship.

Founded back in 2022 by Jordan Green and James Toppin, Sturdy Off was born out of a passion for dance, and a desire to give young performers a platform to shine. With a focus on elevating young dancers, it creates an inclusive space where talent meets opportunity, allowing performers to express their creativity, build confidence and showcase their skills. Recognizing the power of social media to shape trends and connect communities, Sturdy Off is more than just a dance platform – it’s a movement.

Born out of shared values and a mutual mission to continually inspire and support emerging, youth generations, JD’s partnership marks a significant step in Sturdy Off’s growth as they continue to fuse dance and creativity to engage audiences worldwide.

“We are thrilled to partner with JD sports and look forward to delivering exciting opportunities that showcase the incredible young talent we have the privilege to work withm,” said Jordan Green – Sturdy Off co-founder.

Here’s how JD and Sturdy Off are providing opportunities and access to youth groups through Sturdy Certified:

Join Us in the JD Sturdy Studio

At the heart of this collaboration lies the JD Sturdy Studio — a transformative space dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering creativity. This centre of excellence will serve as a sanctuary for the Sturdy Off community and friends alike, offering open doors and programming across 2025. Participants will have access to interactive workshops designed to hone their skills and expand their horizons from industry-leading and familiar credible experts.

InterCities Series – A Spotlight on Grassroots Talent

The ambition extends beyond the studio bringing heat to the streets. Through the Sturdy Certified InterCity series, JD and Sturdy Off will showcase the Sturdy Certified community throughout major cities and in the EU, capturing the raw energy and talent of local streets. This audition-like narrative will highlight grassroots creativity, providing a platform for emerging artists and innovators you might just spot some familiar JD faces and artists. JD and Sturdy Off will announce more on this in the new year.

Celebrate with the Sturdy Off Dance Show

As part of JD’s commitment to this initiative, the brand will also support an exciting global Sturdy Certified Dance Show. This extraordinary event will offer lucky contestants the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime experience, taking their talents to the next level.
