Kentish Town’s Co-op re-launches with a fresh new-look and improved range, choice and services following an extensive eight-week programme of works and improvements.

The store – which is located at 250 Kentish Town Road (NW5) and, supports 20 local jobs – has been ‘transformed’ with a brand new look and more spacious layout.

Relaunching following the investment programme, the store includes Costa Coffee Express; bakery and, increased focus on fresh and healthy products. This sits alongside food-to-go and meal deals; Fairtrade goods; world foods; pizzas; flowers; ready meals, award winning wines and beers and, everyday essentials. The latest refrigeration not only cuts Co-op’s carbon footprint, but also enhances the store’s fresh, chilled and frozen range. Other services include National Lottery and, payment services via PayPoint.

The online home delivery of groceries is offered through Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat – orders are picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently locally, often in as little as 60 minutes or less.

Parcel collection services are available over the counter via Amazon and DPD.

Azad Hafiz, Co-op area operations manager, said: “We’re delighted to invest in Kentish Town. The store has seen a huge transformation – the new-look store looks fantastic, and we have opened up more space to enhance the shopping experience which has made a real difference. We’re proud to be part of local community life. We have a focus on being a hub locally for the community, delivering the quality, choice, value and added services which can be enjoyed by everyone – we’re here to contribute to local life and conveniently serve and support the community.”

Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with personalised offers, deals and promotions and, lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.

Soft plastic recycling is available in store, making it easier for shoppers to return harder to recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.

Co-op is committed to backing British agriculture, with all of its fresh and frozen meat 100% British – including in its pies, ready meals and sandwiches.

Co-op is one of the world’s largest consumer-owned co-operatives, with its history dating back more than 180 years. Co-op exists to create value for its membership and communities, its 7m members own the business and play an intrinsic part in the governance of the organisation.
