This year’s official star ratings include:
Cacao Tea – Three Stars,
- Judges praised it as “truly clever and utterly delicious.” Described as “an outstanding infusion of lingering deliciousness”, with “all the character of fine chocolate – fruity, bitter and indulgent.” Made from roasted cacao husks, this innovative infusion is a sustainable twist on a by-product of the chocolate-making process.
49% Milk-Dark Drinking Chocolate– Two Stars
- Celebrated for its “honest chocolatey goodness,” this unique blend impressed with notes of “molasses, nuttiness and aromatic spice.” Judges found it complex, balanced, and “just sweet enough.”
60% Dark Drinking Chocolate– One Star
- Described as “creamy and luxurious,” with “authentic chocolate flavours” and a mellow, satisfying richness.
