FATSO celebrates its first Great Taste Award win

FATSO, the disruptors in dark chocolate, today celebrates its first Great Taste Award Win for one of its founding flavours. Judged by the Guild of Fine Food’s expert panel, Morn’n Glory has been given a Great Taste 1-star, in the world’s most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme.

Morn’n Glory is a breakfast-inspired combo that delivers a dark chocolate bar with 60% Colombian dark chocolate, filled with crunchy cornflakes with a side of toast and orange marmalade. 13,672 products were put through the competition’s rigorous blind judging process; and FATSO’s Morn’n Glory was dubbed “an attractive, chunky chocolate bar with a good shine and snap. Smooth, bitter, dark chocolate that melts beautifully in the mouth to deliver a lovely creamy tang. The ratio of crunch to chocolate is spot on and the marmalade, when you get it, adds a pleasing citrus kick”.

Co-Founder, Ella McKay, explains, “We are absolutely thrilled to have won a Great Taste Award, and are so proud to be adding the prestigious badge of honour to our Morn’n Glory bar. We pride ourselves in a product range that proves that dark chocolate doesn’t have boring, and it’s such a privilege for one of our bars to be recognised with a start that celebrates ‘food and drink that delivers fantastic flavour’.

Launched to market in September 2022, FATSO, is on a mission to prove that dark chocolate can have just as much fun as milk, without compromising on taste, ethics or size! Shaking up convention, the range of chunky chocolate bars are crammed full of incredible inclusions to deliver unreal flavour combos and are all made with true single-origin, Fino de Aroma certified cacao sourced from their friends at Luker Chocolate in Colombia.
