Prior to creating Almave, the Formula One icon had been searching for a non-alcoholic alternative to tequila – his drink of choice – that more authentically captured the spirit of blue agave. So, by joining forces with Casa Lumbre, Hamilton was able to combine his passion and determination with the expertise of one of Mexico’s most renowned craft spirits distillers and together, they have redefined what is possible for Blue Agave.
Almave captures the spirit and tradition of tequila as the first non-alcoholic spirit to use the coveted blue agave plant harvested in the highlands of Los Altos, Jalisco, and distilled using the same traditional process as tequila, including cooking the agave in brick ovens, and distilling in copper pot stills.

The newly launched Almave Blanco is bursting with the distinctive aromas of fresh blue agave. With a bright taste filled with minerality and a hint of spice, it is the ideal base to mix into a non-alcoholic tequila or mezcal-based cocktail.
Meanwhile, Almave Ambar is also now available in the UK – having previously launched exclusively at uk.almave.com in March 2024. Almave Ambar is perfect for sipping on the rocks or in a spirit forward cocktail, capturing the authentic aromas of flavours of blue agave with tasting notes of caramel and toasted wood.
