Luxury ice cream brand, Häagen-Dazs, is unveiling its first limited-edition flavour of the year. New Salted Caramel Cappuccino is a pint-sized creation that combines two delicious, classic flavours set to inspire more indulgent moments.

Landing on shelves in Asda from 30th January, Salted Caramel Cappuccino taps into the fast-growing demand for coffee-flavoured innovation, combining one of the Häagen-Dazs’ original flavours with decadent Salted Caramel ice cream – the brand’s leading flavour in the UK.

Premiumisation continues to drive growth for the treat category. The limited-edition pint is ideal for shoppers looking to maximise their treating occasions, with 47% of consumers searching for more sweet and salty delights. The rich combination of coffee and salted caramel creates a superior ice cream experience that reflects Häagen-Dazs craftsmanship and high-quality ingredients.

Jose Alves, head of Häagen-Dazs UK, said: “Coffee is one of the three original flavours Häagen-Dazs first launched in the 1960s, and continues to be popular in many of our markets worldwide. With the coffee segment in the UK currently growing at double the rate of the ice cream category, it’s the perfect time to bring back the much-loved flavour with a modern twist.

“As our best-selling flavour in the UK, we know that Salted Caramel is a strong favourite among shoppers and its combination of sweet and salty perfectly complements our coffee ice cream. Both flavours are already well-loved but together they deliver moments of joy that don’t hold back on truly luxurious indulgence.”
