Livingston Designer Outlet announces 10-year lease with exciting F&B brand

Livingston Designer OutletLivingston Designer Outlet, Scotland’s largest designer outlet, has secured first-of-its-kind premium deli and tasting bar, Hamilton & Brown, with a 10-year lease agreement.  The new delicatessen and eatery is set to open in the autumn.

Taking a prime 3,500sq ft ground floor unit, Hamilton & Brown will bring an elevated culinary offering to the centre, prioritising locally sourced produce and incorporating a gourmet tasting counter, dedicated rotisserie and deli, and decadent dessert station. Once open, the brand will broaden the outlet centre’s F&B mix with a fresh delicatessen offering not previously available.

Hamilton & Brown is the newest brand to develop from the legacy of local butcher and restaurateur David Stein, a homegrown Scottish butchery brand with a 40-year heritage.  This new delicatessen offering follows the success of Cafebar 1962, also part of the David Stein group, which opened at the centre last summer.

Cafebar has contributed to a notable +4.6% increase in food and beverage sales at Livingston Designer Outlet since the start of the year, with the forthcoming arrival of Hamilton & Brown expected to grow this further.

Nicky Lovell, head of retail at Global Mutual, said: “Our retail offering is evolving rapidly, and our goal is to shape and futureproof the outlet experience by introducing concepts that blend lifestyle, leisure, and premium local provenance. Hamilton & Brown brings a rich heritage and contemporary vision to our offering. It reflects the dynamic direction premium outlets must take to remain relevant and exciting.”

David Stein, founder of Hamilton & Brown said: “We are excited to open a second venue within Livingston Designer Outlet. Hamilton & Brown is set to redefine our offering with an all-encompassing experience. Whether you are heading in to stock up on some of our shopping essentials or celebrating an occasion, Hamilton & Brown is sure to cater for your needs, and we are exciting to bring the new venue to this part of West Lothian.”
