Beginning today, 10 female athletes from lululemon’s global Ambassador Collective will attempt to run their furthest distance with the opportunity to set distance and time-based world records at the first-of-its-kind FURTHER Ultramarathon (March 6-12). This also includes a comprehensive in-race research effort and chance to exceed the men’s six-day world record.
As part of the athlete kits, the brand unveiled 36 new product innovations developed for and co-created with the athletes to address their unmet needs. Products include the Support Code Bra, a running bra with a minimalist, chafe-free construction (launching Fall 2024); a Runsie, inspired by the opportunity to evolve the women’s ultra uniform, and new cooling solutions like an ice vest.
To celebrate the event, lululemon created a special edition colourway of beyondfeel, the brand’s latest running shoe and a featured part of the kits, launches online globally in markets with lululemon footwear starting today, March 6 – guests can shop styles for women’s and men’s online.
