The Fragrance Foundation UK, the industry’s leading non-profit organisation dedicated to celebrating and advancing the art and science of fragrance and recognised as the voice of scent, today announces the launch of the first dedicated Central London Fragrance Hub, opening during National Fragrance Week on the 18th and 19th March 2026.
The launch comes at a time of exceptional growth and cultural momentum for fragrance. This growth mirrors wider global trends, with fragrance continuing to be one of the most dynamic and resilient categories within the beauty industry. As the global beauty market is projected to grow 5% annually through 2030 fragrance is set to outperform, driven not only by demand, but by meaning. Scent is increasingly viewed as a powerful form of self-expression, wellbeing and cultural storytelling, with younger consumers and the rise of high-end niche brands reflecting a deeper appreciation of fragrance as craft and art.
In the UK, this shift is being led by a new generation of consumers. Gen Z is now the fastest-growing group in beauty, with sales among under-24s growing by 17% year on year. Their engagement reflects a more emotional and identity-driven relationship with scent, reinforcing fragrance’s role as both a personal and cultural medium.
At the centre of National Fragrance Week, which aims to position the UK as a global hub for fragrance creativity while inspiring consumers to rediscover the emotional power of scent, will be The Fragrance Foundation UK’s new Fragrance Hub. Located in Central London, the space will bring together brands, retailers, creators and innovators to explore the trends shaping the future of fragrance, from AI-driven discovery and digital influence to sustainability, ingredient innovation and evolving consumer behaviours.
National Fragrance Week will also spotlight emerging talent with the unveiling of the 2026 Next Gen cohort, an accelerator programme developed in partnership with Growth Studio to support the industry’s most promising new brands and talent. During a showcase and live presentation, founders will share their concepts to an audience of retail, media and fragrance industry leaders, offering an early look at the scents, stories and ideas shaping the next era of fragrance.
Vanita Sabnani Dalamal, chair of The Fragrance Foundation UK, said: “As the voice of scent, we are proud to launch the first National Fragrance Week Hub as fragrance continues to outperform the wider beauty market and gain cultural significance. The Hub brings together innovation, craft and talent, while National Fragrance Week remains both a celebration of excellence and a platform for what comes next.”
By convening leaders from across the fragrance ecosystem, National Fragrance Week underscores the importance of The Fragrance Foundation UK as both a cultural and institutional voice for the sector. Through initiatives spanning education, inspiration and celebration, the organisation continues to nurture emerging talent, respond to evolving consumer behaviours and champion excellence across the industry, while reinforcing the UK’s position within the global fragrance landscape.
