M&S’s Valentine’s Dine In lands in stores today as more than 80% of customers say they plan to celebrate in their homes this year. This year’s M&S Valentine’s Dine In brings over 40 restaurant quality products including Prawn and Lobster Thermidor Gratins, Fillet Steak Beef Wellington with Red Wine Jus a bottle of Crémant de Bordeaux. It is the first time the offer will include only M&S Collection products, using the best quality ingredients and methods used by chefs, so customers can enjoy restaurant quality meals at home, for £25.

The dine in to dine out trend continues this year: According to Mintel, 70% of the UK agree having an evening meal at home can be just as fun as going out for a meal. This is even higher for younger adults (77% of 16-34-year-olds). A survey by consumer insight agency, Vypr, ranked M&S the top choice for customers shopping for Dine In meals and dinner ingredients for Valentine’s Day this year.

Kathryn Turner, director of product development at M&S Food, said: “M&S is the home of Dine In and Valentine’s Day is the most popular celebration to spend at home. This year our M&S Valentine’s Day Dine In offer is the best it’s ever been – every single product is from our Collection range, made to restaurant quality standards and we’ve included a bottle of Crémant following its rise in popularity.”

The Dine In offer includes a starter, main, two desserts and a drink for two, for £25 – just £12.50 per person.
