punchy – the UK’s first-of-its-kind hydration drinks brand to be listed on an airline is now flying high with British Airways, as its Tropical Hydration Sachets launch across all short-haul flights from Gatwick and Heathrow.

Available until 19th November 2025, the sachets are priced at £2 each or included in BA’s £12 healthy meal deal.

The launch marks another major milestone for punchy, as the brand continues to shake up the £26bn+ global hydration category with its flavour-first, function-forward formats. Its vegan Tropical Hydration Sachet delivers a game-changing wellness blend of seven electrolytes and minerals, plus vitamins C, D, B3, B6 and B12, all designed to support hydration, immunity and daily energy – with no caffeine, added sugar or artificial sweeteners. Just pour into 500ml of cold water, mix and enjoy.

punchy’s founder, Paddy Cavanagh-Butler, says: “We’re thrilled to be working with British Airways to bring punchy to the skies. More and more people are prioritising wellbeing and hydration when they travel – and we’re proud to be part of a shift that makes that easier, tastier and more accessible at 35,000ft.”

The global electrolyte hydration drinks market is forecast to grow from $35bn (£26bn) in 2023 to $59bn by 2032, with UK demand rising fast. Here, punchy is well-placed to lead the charge with its vibrant, vitamin-rich range – from travel-ready sachets (also including the zesty Citrus Hydration) to its ready-to-pour canned drinks, now stocked in more than 2,000 locations nationwide:

NEW Mexican Lime Hydration

Bold, bright and citrusy – and new this summer

Mango Hydration

Juicy and tropical, for an extra burst of sunshine

Blueberry Hydration

Crisp, refreshing and effortlessly thirst-quenching

The cans are currently listed in selected Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Holland & Barrett, Booths, Whole Foods, Abel & Cole, BP and SSP travel stores.

Named Champion of The Grocer’s 2024 New Product & Packaging Awards in the Functional & Lifestyle Drinks category, punchy is B Corp certified, nutritionist-approved and designed for life – not just sport.
