Royal cakemaker Fiona Cairns launches new signature afternoon tea selection and mini cupcakes

Fiona Cairns Royal cakemaker Fiona Cairns has unveiled the Fiona Cairns Signature Afternoon Tea and Mini Cupcakes, two new additions to its range of luxurious hand decorated, exceptional tasting cakes and biscuits.

The Fiona Cairns Signature Afternoon Tea is a box of deliciously beautiful cakes (RRP £9) that is being launched in Ocado and Fenwick on 11th August for national Afternoon Tea Week (11th – 17th August). It includes mini versions of Fiona Cairns’ best selling cakes:

  • Chocolate & Cherry Loaf Cake – an indulgent chocolate cake made with sour cherries, finished by hand with a velvety chocolate buttercream and an elegant sprinkle of freeze dried cherries

  • Lemon & Elderflower Loaf Cake – a moist lemon sponge, infused with a zesty lemon drizzle and decorated by hand with an elderflower buttercream

  • Raspberry & Rose Victoria Sandwich – a delicious golden sponge cake, filled with a fruity raspberry jam and a floral rose flavoured buttercream, hand finished with sugar and edible glitter

  • Fiona’s Signature Fondant Fancy – a Madagascan vanilla sponge, with fruity raspberry jam, hand dipped in a delicate pink fondant icing and finished with hand piped royal icing decorations.

The Mini Cupcakes (RRP £5) is a nine pack collection of handmade golden sponge mini cupcakes adorned with swirls of rose, blush pink and creamy ivory buttercream, each a tiny celebration of elegance and charm.

Both products are presented in the brand’s distinctive elegant pink boxes, making them the perfect centrepiece for an afternoon tea at home, or for gifting.
