Skin + MeSkin + Me, the brand that single-handedly democratised dermatology when it launched dermatologist-prescribed formulas and the now iconic and much-loved Daily Doser, has set its sight on retail, launching an exclusive retail collection into John Lewis and Boots, cascading from early September.

Skin + Me was the first-in-market brand to deliver high-strength prescription ingredients safely via a patented Daily Doser. The launch came at a time when 50% of skincare consumers reported being dissatisfied with the products they were using. Now, four years on, more than 20,000 Skin + Me customers report a 133% improvement in how they feel about their skin after just 12 weeks of using their prescribed Skin + Me products.

However, despite more than hundreds of thousands of customers enrolling in the Skin + Me prescription service, it’s important to acknowledge that 75% of consumers still prefer shopping in-store, and they too deserve personalised skincare solutions. So, in a bid to make effective skincare and personalised regimens accessible to millions more people, Skin + Me will launch a NEW retail collection for an exclusive period onto John Lewis online from the 7th of September and cascade into 8 stores, including the John Lewis Oxford Street flagship store on the 28th of September. Trained staff will be on hand to provide a personalised skin assessment to help customers identify their skin type and discover their ideal regimen.

Skin + Me will be available online at Boots from the 25th of September, followed by an in-store rollout to 337 Boots stores on the 30th September.

The prescription service Skin + Me is renowned for will remain DTC under the new name of Skin + Me Pro and will still be available to consumers via www.skinandme.com. New customers can build a personalised skincare regimen in-store and online with dermatologist-approved formulations designed to meet their specific skin goals.

Following extensive research into consumer shopping habits to gain insight into how they assess their skin before choosing their skincare, the new Skin + Me retail lineup has been formulated to serve specific skin types. The regimens are designed for:

Dry to Normal Skin Oily to Combination Skin Sensitive Skin

Within each category, consumers will select the appropriate cleanser for their skin type and choose a NEW Daily Doser designed to target Breakouts + Visible Pores, Fine Lines +

Elasticity, Redness + Uneven Tone, Pigmentation + Dark Spots, or Hydration + Glow. Selecting the appropriate moisturiser for their skin type completes the regimen.

Retail customers can expect the kind of dermatologist-approved, effective active ingredients Skin + Me is known for, including a first-to-market proprietary encapsulated High Strength Retinoid-3 Complex, Azelaic Acid, Niacinamide, and Peptides. Each Daily Doser features a uniquely formulated blend of ingredients at active levels for optimal results.

The rollout of this new personalised collection marks the first time retail customers can buy an entire skincare routine of cleanser, treatment serum, and moisturiser, created for their specific skin type.

“The mission of Skin + Me is to democratise dermatology so that everyone can benefit from medical expertise and gold standard ingredients. Having done this successfully online for the last 5 years Skin + Me is taking the next big step in our mission by launching with John Lewis and Boots, allowing us to reach the millions of customers who buy on the high street. With our exclusive new product range, we’re able to help many more people discover effective, dermatologist-designed formulas with active level ingredients in a regimen that has been specifically designed for their skin type and goals.” – Horatio Cary, Co-founder and CEO, Skin + Me
