Søstrene GreneSøstrene Grene, the Danish brand known for its stylish yet budget-friendly homewares and lifestyle products, is opening a new store at 77 High Street in Staines-upon-Thames, just in time for the festive season. Shoppers can explore a wide selection of items, from kitchenware and soft furnishings to stationery and hobby supplies, all designed to bring a touch of creativity and personality to everyday life

The new Søstrene Grene Staines store is designed to be more than just a place to shop. Soft lighting, classical music and the brand’s signature winding layout create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every corner offers something different, reflecting the Danish tradition of ‘hygge’ and giving customers a moment of calm amid the bustle of everyday life.

Following the success of their nearby Windsor store, which opened in September 2025, Søstrene Grene’s Staines location will open just in time for Christmas. The store is a destination for festive finds, offering a variety of affordable holiday essentials, including gift wrapping (£1.54), tealight holders (£9.34), velvet stars (£3.48), baubles (£2.20) and decorative trees (£2.68).

Mikkel Grene, Group CEO and co-owner of Søstrene Grene, comments: “Søstrene Grene has always been about creating joyful experiences that bring together ‘hygge’, creativity and accessibility. Expanding across the UK gives us the opportunity to share that experience with more communities and to offer something a little different from the typical high street shopping trip.”

With over 360 stores across 17 countries, Søstrene Grene continues to grow alongside ambitious UK expansion plans, including opening 100 new stores by 2027.

UK partners, Norma Jacob and Richard Power, run Søstrene Grene stores across Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and the South of England.

Norma Jacob comments: “One of the things I enjoy most about Søstrene Grene is how it combines a clear Scandinavian aesthetic with creativity and fun. The products are beautiful and well-designed, but there is also a sense of curiosity built into the store experience, encouraging customers to explore and enjoy the little surprises they encounter.”

Richard Power adds: ”It has been a fantastic year for Søstrene Grene, with several successful store openings. The new Staines store gives customers the chance to explore stylish, affordable products alongside seasonal touches, and we’re excited to see it become part of the local shopping scene.”

The official opening date of Søstrene Grene at Staines-upon-Thames, will be announced very soon.
