Søstrene GreneAt 9:59am on Friday 7th November, Danish homewares brand Søstrene Grene will open the doors to its newest store. Situated in the town of Staines-upon-Thames, the launch marks the second store to be opened in Surrey.

Søstrene Grene is expanding its presence in Surrey with a new store that showcases the brand’s signature Scandinavian-inspired designs. Set on 77 High Street, the store will feature a thoughtfully curated range of affordable homewares, furniture, lifestyle products and craft essentials, right in the heart of the town centre and just in time for Christmas.

To mark the occasion, the first 100 customers through the doors will receive a voucher for a rug, worth over £60. Guests will also receive a canvas tote bag filled with Søstrene Grene goodies before getting the chance to explore the brand’s latest collections whilst enjoying refreshments and live performances by a classical string duo and ballerinas.

Originating in Denmark, Søstrene Grene now has over 360 stores globally, and more than 60 locations across the UK. The new Staines-upon-Thames store adds to Søstrene Grene’s growing presence in the UK and Surrey, joining the established Woking store. Shoppers can anticipate Christmas essentials including Twisted Candles (£4.68), Cloth Napkin (£4.54), Gift Bag (£1.54) and Wrapping Paper (£1.54).

Mikkel Grene, group CEO and co-owner of Søstrene Grene, comments: “We are delighted to continue our UK and Surrey expansion with our new Staines-upon-Thames store. The store will bring Søstrene Grene’s wonderful world to Surrey for the second time, becoming a welcoming space where people can find inspiration and enjoy a little everyday ‘hygge’ throughout our Scandinavian inspired design.”

UK Partners, Norma Jacob and Richard Power, who operate Søstrene Grene stores across Northern Ireland, Southern England, Scotland and Wales, are excited to bring shoppers to the new Staines-upon-Thames store.

Norma Jacob, comments: “We’re looking forward to opening our new Søstrene Grene store in Staines-upon Thames. This exciting location allows us to bring our distinctive blend of Scandinavian charm and creativity to the heart of the town. We look forward to welcoming customers into a calm, inspiring space where they can discover a moment of serenity amid the everyday.”

Richard Power adds: “ We’ve already had an incredibly positive response to our latest store opening, echoing the warmth and enthusiasm we saw in Woking. We’re thrilled to bring Søstrene Grene’s charming design universe to Staines-upon-Thames and introduce more people to the brand.”
