The British & Irish Lions is pleased to announce Charles Tyrwhitt as the Official Menswear Partner for the Tour to Australia in 2025.

Following long-term investments in rugby and relationships with past and present players, Charles Tyrwhitt, a brand proud of its heritage and sporting associations, will collaborate with The British & Irish Lions to tailor an exclusive collection of bespoke formalwear which will be worn by the men’s 2025 touring squad. Tapping into their long-standing connection with rugby fans, the exciting partnership will also see the release of an official British & Irish Lions Supporter Collection, launching later this year.

As part of the Charles Tyrwhitt x British & Irish Lions collection, supporters will be able to purchase piqué polo shirts in the home nations’ colours with the iconic Lions badge, high performance knitwear, shirts and gilets featuring the classic heraldic lion. The collection will epitomise the craftmanship of Charles Tyrwhitt and the Lions team alike, which both the squad and supporters can wear with pride.

The first Test of this highly anticipated Tour to Australia will begin on Saturday 19 July at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium. The iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) will host the second Test on Saturday 26 July. The final Test will be played in front of over 80,000 fans at Sydney’s Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday 2 August.

In preparation for the first Test, the Lions will face an invitational Australian and New Zealand team at the Adelaide Oval, while the Tour will also include fixtures against Australian Super Rugby Pacific sides in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne.

The official British & Irish Lions Supporter Collection will be available in selected stores, including Charles Tyrwhitt’s flagship on London’s iconic Jermyn Street, and online at charlestyrwhitt.com later this year.

Tom Halsey, chief commercial officer of The British & Irish Lions, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Charles Tyrwhitt for the 2025 Australia Tour. Charles Tyrwhitt’s reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail along with their passion for rugby makes them an ideal fit for the Lions. We are excited to see the Lions squad, extended touring party and our supporters in this unique Lions collection for what’s set to be a record-breaking Tour in 2025.”

Commenting on the announcement, Charles Tyrwhitt’s chief marketing officer, Joe Irons, says: “Following the success of our partnership with England Rugby and having formed strong relationships with several legendary players and team members, we’re thrilled to announce a new partnership with the world-famous British & Irish Lions. As rugby fans ourselves at Charles Tyrwhitt, we’re as much of a supporter as we are a sponsor, so we’re delighted to be part of the next tour to Australia in 2025. As a British menswear retailer also selling in Ireland, we’re keen to build on our connections with rugby and we can’t wait to see English, Scottish, Welsh, and Irish fans embracing our Lions collection”.
