Having taken on its first group of apprentices in 2023, Trailfinders has now progressed 51 apprentices through the travel consultant scheme that awards participants with a qualification equivalent to two A-Levels. The scheme has been incorporated into Trailfinders’ existing travel consultant training programme – one of the most robust in the industry comprising 5 weeks of initial training and a year of continued learning support.
Trailfinders well surpasses the obligatory 315 course hours in numerous forms such as classroom training, online modules, coaching sessions and practical learning. The scheme has been a great success with a 100% pass rate, and 73% of apprentices achieving a Distinction (the highest pass mark). TF look forward to kickstarting many more Travel & Tourism careers in this way.
Ally Haviland, Trailfinders Apprenticeship Lead, remarked: “Incorporating the apprenticeship scheme into our already extensive training programme has been no small feat, however watching our apprentices achieve such outstanding results over the last few months has been incredibly rewarding. I feel the high Distinction rate reflects who all staff at Trailfinders really are – The Travel Experts”
