TUTTI jewellery worn by Dame Kristin Scott-Thomas in John Lewis Christmas ad

North East fashion brand TUTTI’s team woke up today to their jewellery being worn by Dame Kristin Scott-Thomas in the John Lewis Christmas advert, which also features Sam Fender and the John Spence Community choir.
Founder and creative director, Kate Rose saw her dreams come true as the opening scene features Dame Scott-Thomas open the door wearing a TUTTI necklace and bangle.
Breaking the news to her team in North Shields this morning Kate said, “We’ve had such an amazing year launching our womenswear collection and opening three new stores, but this tops our wildest dreams!
“At last year’s team meeting I even said ‘all we’ve got to do next year is be in the John Lewis Christmas ad’ so we must have manifested it!”
TUTTI jewellery is stocked in all of John Lewis’s stores and online, but they were unaware of its starring role in the heartwarming TV ad until it aired. It features Dame Scott-Thomas welcoming her grandchildren for Christmas and struggling to find a gift they would appreciate until she finds help from her faithful companion and childhood gift, Pickles the dog.
Completing the North East theme, Sam Fender enlisted the help of current pupils at John Spence Community High School in North Shields to re-record the choir for his cover of the Rolling Stones classic You Can’t Always Get What You Want, complete with a brass section with the Easington Colliery Band.
Proceeds from the sale of the single, which includes Fender’s 2020 cover of Winter Song, will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust and Action for Children.
The TUTTI Concept Store and Studio are based in Harbour House, North Shields with Fenwick Newcastle and Raby Castle also selling the new womenswear collection. TUTTI jewellery is stocked on the TUTTI website, tuttiandco.com, Johnlewis.com, Fenwick and in 150 independent retailers nationwide.
