FATSO x RAVE dark chocolate collaboration

FATSO x RAVE When the dark chocolate disruptors from FATSO met the coffee obsessives at RAVE, they got on suspiciously well. Both obsessed with the highest quality Colombian ingredients, grown by people who get paid as they should, using techniques that keep the planet in mind.

The result: MIX MASTER, a new limited-edition chunky dark chocolate bar made with Colombian coffee, caramelised hazelnut and honeycomb. A bar with zero restraint that’s as bold in design as it is delicious.

Made with FATSO’s finest, ethically sourced single origin Colombian dark chocolate as part of its partnership with family run Luker Chocolate, and RAVE’s flagship Colombian coffee from El Carmen, its best-selling single origin coffee and sustainability project, this is a proper meeting of minds. Both brands know that great flavour starts at the source, not on the shelf. That means sourcing the highest-quality Colombian ingredients. No cutting corners, no compromising on quality, and no pretending that good enough is good enough.

Ella McKay, co-founder and chocolate disruptor at FATSO said: “We’re not really known for doing things by halves, and this bar is no exception. We’ve taken seriously good Colombian dark chocolate, teamed it up with RAVE’s seriously good Colombian coffee, and made something that has no right being this delicious. But it’s not just about making a great bar. We’re brands that also have a love of arts, culture and disrupting the status quo, which had to come through in our design too.

We wanted to tap into our shared love of nostalgic music culture; enter the boom box design. But really make it feel like Rave and FATSO have collided. We think we’ve come up with something that’s unmistakably Rave and unmistakably FATSO, and with packaging that hits just as hard as the bar inside. Made to be devoured, designed to be coveted. This is how we do collaborations at FATSO.”

Rob Hodge, co-founder of RAVE Coffee explained: “FATSO shares our obsession with big flavour and doing things properly. Bringing our single origin El Carmen No. 50 coffee together with their single origin Colombian dark chocolate felt like a no-brainer. The result is an exceptional chunky bar that proves great ingredients speak for themselves.”

MIX MASTER is available online from FATSO and RAVE, RRP £7.95.
