Tonic is continuing its rapid retail expansion with the launch of CREATINE + BRAIN, the UK’s first daily creatine formula combining ultra-pure 99.9% Creatine Monohydrate with Taurine, Biotin and Blueberry in a single product designed to support both physical and mental performance.

Traditionally associated with bodybuilders and serious athletes, creatine is increasingly being adopted by consumers looking to support their everyday health and performance. Creating an opportunity for the category to evolve beyond products aimed solely at gym enthusiasts.

Rather than creating another creatine supplement focused purely on sport, Tonic has developed CREATINE + BRAIN to bring together four clinically studied ingredients in one daily scoop:

CREATINE + BRAIN combines four clinically studied ingredients into one simple daily scoop.

  • 10,000mg Creatine Monohydrate – 99.9% pure, micronised creatine, naturally found in the body where it helps produce energy*
  • 2,000mg Taurine – one of the body’s most abundant amino acids, working alongside creatine to support energy metabolism + hydration
  • 1,000mcg Biotin (B7) – contributes to normal psychological function, supporting focus and mental performance**
  • 800mg Blueberry – a concentrated blueberry extract, naturally rich in antioxidants to support overall vitality

Like everything Tonic makes, CREATINE + BRAIN contains no added sugar, artificial sweeteners, fillers or bulking agents, is third-party lab tested and is suitable for vegans.

Sunna van Kampen, founder of Tonic Health, says: “Rather than creating another product aimed solely at the gym market, we wanted to build something that reflected how people actually live. Creatine has been pigeonholed into one category for far too long, but we see that’s changing. We’re incredibly proud of CREATINE + BRAIN and think it will be a real game changer in how people think about Creatine.”

Natalie Louise-Burrows, Head of Nutrition at Tonic, says: “The understanding of creatine has moved on and it isn’t just for people chasing PBs in the gym. It’s a well-researched compound offering benefits for focus, cognition and energy, as well as muscle strength and recovery. Life can deliver back-to-back meetings, a broken night sleep, or trying to keep up with a five-year-old at the park, and it can feel like a lot. Pairing creatine with taurine, which supports energy metabolism and hydration, biotin, which supports normal psychological function and focus, and blueberry, naturally rich in antioxidants to combat oxidative stress, gives your brain all-round support for everything it needs to do during the day. And with Tonic, it’s one easy scoop in your water. You’re not juggling multiple supplements and having to remember to take them all.”

CREATINE + BRAIN is available now from 400+ Tesco stores nationwide, www.tonichealth.co and Amazon, with an RRP from £10 for 20 servings.
