UltraGrime to match runaway trade success with consumer sales

Multi-purpose cleaning wipes brand UltraGrime® is primed to shake up the consumer market following phenomenal demand for its ‘Bigger, Wetter, Stronger’ wipes in the DIY and trade sectors. 
 
The brand’s tough-on-grime, no-mess approach to every type of cleaning job has proved hugely successful with tradespeople, DIY lovers and outdoor enthusiasts who have discovered its range in stores including B&Q, Travis Perkins, Toolstation, Screwfix and Wickes. 
 
Now UltraGrime will be building on its popularity by bringing professional-grade cleaning into the home, offering consumers a strong and effective wipe that can be used on any surface. 
 
The brand is working with supermarkets, forecourts, garden centres and convenience stores across the UK, with ambitious plans to add value for retailers by reinvigorating the household category.
“We’ve identified huge opportunities to grow the market for household cleaning wipes, and our research shows that almost 7-in-10 consumersare keen to buy UltraGrime® Clothwipes,” says Matthew Rabey, Head of Sales, UltraGrime. “Our ‘Bigger, Wetter, Stronger’ clothwipes represent a huge opportunity for retailers looking to satisfy busy consumers and eco-conscious shoppers.” 
 
Available in recyclable packing, UltraGrime Clothwipes are also plastic-free and 100% biodegradable while their cloth-like, rip-resistant fabric stays wetter for more than an hour, reducing waste. Twice the size of traditional wipes and offering excellent value per pack, the industrial-strength UltraGrime Clothwipes are skin-friendly too, while the Anti-Bac Clothwipes can kill 99.99% of bacteria.  

“We know that consumers gain a sense of pride from having a clean home. UltraGrime Clothwipes can handle big clean-up jobs and everyday messes in and around the home, making chores easier,” adds Matthew.

With recent Mintel statisticsrevealing that nearly half of UK consumers spend 2-4 hours per week cleaning, there are opportunities for growth in the sector. Matthew concludes: “As an innovative and exciting brand, UltraGrime offers a huge opportunity for retailers.
