Wickes Group Plc, the UK’s leading home improvement retailer, is delighted to announce the appointment of Steven Blair as Chief Retail and Distribution Officer, effective from March 10th, 2025. This newly created role will see Steven reporting directly to David Wood, Group CEO, and joining the Wickes Executive Board.
Steven brings a wealth of experience to Wickes, having held several senior roles across the retail and home improvement sectors. He joins from Tesco Group Plc, where he has served as Strategy and Business Planning Director since 2023, following successful tenures as Business Support Director and Retail Director. Prior to this, Steven gained extensive experience in the home improvement industry, holding operational leadership positions at B&Q and Tradepoint. He began his career at Marks and Spencer, where he developed a strong foundation in retail.
